What is AVAN and what does it do in Vallès?

AVAN is a non-profit organisation with more than 30 years of experience, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people affected by neurological diseases (such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke or multiple sclerosis), as well as their families and caregivers. With centres in Terrassa, Sabadell, Sant Cugat, Rubí and Castellar, it is the leading point of reference for neurorehabilitation in the region.

Its care model is 360º: from physiotherapy, speech therapy and neuropsychology services to emotional support and inclusive leisure activities. Through dedicated programmes such as "Petit AVAN" for children and young people, it ensures that every stage of life and every condition receives the specialised care it deserves.

How does RAFESA collaborate?

At Rafesa, we firmly believe in supporting the organisations in our region that care for people. Our alliance with AVAN is based on three pillars:

  • Support for neurorehabilitation: we help the organisation continue offering state-of-the-art therapies and day-care services for those who need them most.
  • Promoting autonomy: we collaborate on its inclusion projects so that people with neurological conditions can maintain their dignity and active participation in society.
  • Meaningful partnerships: we are part of its "Friend companies" network, joining forces through charitable events and awareness campaigns to bring visibility to these conditions.
