The 49th edition of Cosmoprof Worlwide Bologna came to an end on past 21 March with a spectacular participation success. More than 250,000 visitors attended the Bologna Fiere’s exhibition center in order to learn and experience the latest trends in the sectors of perfumery, professional hairdressing, accessories and luxury cosmetics. This Bolognese meeting, with a tradition of more than half a century behind, has already been consolidated as one of the most prestigious international references in the world of beauty, and this year saw increased by more than a 5% the presence of both public and exhibitors, the number of which rose up to 2,510 companies, that took advantage of that unbeatable setting (110.000m² entirely devoted to exhibitions, with more than 20.000m² of outdoor spaces) so as to carve a niche among industry leaders and capture the newest trends and innovations in the market, as well as for establishing contacts, partnerships, synergies and all business opportunities offered by this booming segment, which is currently moving within a total turnover of more than two trillion euros.
Among all these prestigious firms coming from every corner of the globe, Rafesa was present through its Italian partner Eurovetrocap, who landed into the Red City to present their latest developments and proposals, such as its brand new packaging products based on recycled materials made out of plastic. The Milanese company demonstrated, one more time, its deep involvement with innovative product lines and alternative production models based on sustainability, respect for the environment and the latest progresses regarding the raw materials used and their practical applications, without ever losing sight of functionality and distinctive design, two qualities always required by that packaging products intended for the luxury cosmetics and perfume premium segment.
