We can feel it on our skin, we can see it in the trees. Autumn is a time of renewal, of new beginnings. Nothing stops, quite the opposite: everything is starting. It is therefore no coincidence that this time of year is for reunions and new encounters, professionally speaking. In essence, these weeks are for getting back in touch and getting down to business.
The autumn season brings several events of great interest for the sector at large and for RAFESA in particular. More specifically, we plan to attend three major trade fair events within a relatively short period of time and we want to make sure that nobody misses a single beat. Each one of these events – with the things they all share in common and the unique characteristics that set them apart – is a valuable opportunity to strengthen our presence and ensure we remain on the cutting edge of our industry.
At the end of the day, this is all about accompanying one another and moving ahead together, just like we always have done with our customers. This physical presence is what lets us forge strong ties with our customers and partners while also taking the pulse of our sector; the demands, concerns, needs and tastes of our customers.
Our first destination on this busy autumn agenda is Cosmetorium, which will take place on 18 and 19 October. This is an event with a long history behind it and one that is extremely important for RAFESA as it gathers the best there is in the cosmetic industry. We have also made a strategic change to the location of our stand for the event this year. At Cosmetorium, we will place a special focus on showcasing our packaging for cosmetics products, highlighting such sustainable solutions as our refillable containers (REFILL) and other products that encourage sustainability.
One month later, on 22 and 23 November, we will be heading over to the Barcelona Perfumery Congress, a global forum for which the fragrances industry will gather for the first time in Barcelona. A special focus will be placed on marketing, new technologies, olfactory research methods, packaging and raw materials and ingredie nts, among other key topics. It will provide a professional backdrop of the highest order for the Spanish perfume industry (the second-largest exporter in the world) in our beloved city of Barcelona. As a member of the Beauty Cluster, the organisers behind this event, we are particularly looking forward to this one. At the Barcelona Perfumery Congress, we intend to present our latest range of luxury glass containers for perfumery (produced by ESTAL) that includes such products as Doble Alto and Bubbles.
Leaving us almost no time at all to digest everything that happened at the Barcelona Perfumery Congress, we will land in Madrid for EMPACK on 29 and 30 November. This international trade fair has consolidated its position in the packaging sector and RAFESA has been attending for many years. Our regular attendance at this event is testament to our commitment and dedication to customers.
In short, this autumn will be frenetic and full of opportunities for RAFESA at Cosmetorium, Barcelona Perfumery Congress and EMPACK Madrid.
