2018 was definitely set to be a year of change and improvement for Rafesa, including our decision to completely revamp our corporate image and website. The objective was to adapt our image in accordance with packaging and design trends. To this end, we decided to go for a more modern style, albeit without foregoing the company’s values and image.
Cosmetic products and the colour blue, key items in our new corporate image
Blue is the undisputed star of our new corporate image. The imagotype contains a representation of the waves generated by a drop of cosmetic on falling, as well as the company name. By doing so we have created an ensemble of elements that represent and identify the essence of the brand. This new corporate image has broken away from our hitherto static visual concept in order to afford greater warmth and identification to the company overall.
One of the keys of this new image is the link between family and company, a key element in the management of Rafesa. In order to convey this bond graphically, the letters F and E, which stand for Family and Enterprise, have been merged, thus restating one of our core values.
The catalogue, the cornerstone of the new website
Another important step was the complete makeover of the website. The product catalogue is the new star of the website. Containers for perfumes, cosmetics and home fragrances, and accessories, such as pumps, collars, caps and diffusers have also been afforded greater importance in the new proposal. Moreover, this change has placed further emphasis on the company’s history, quality and values. The News section is also a key element, since it will continue to publish items about press appearances, attendance at trade fairs and articles about the perfume and cosmetic packaging industry.
A new image has been created, represented by blue and grey tones, which are also used to emphasise different parts of the website, such as the description of services or the contact section, among others. The use of different typefaces also helps to focus on the most important items, while also helping the user to quickly navigate all the website’s sections.
Different typefaces have also been used to highlight the most important items on the website, while also helping the user to quickly navigate all the website’s sections. The site can be accessed from any device and is based on a responsive design. All the sections have been distributed according to needs, where simplification is of the essence, allowing users to navigate the website without getting lost in the different sections
